Early Results from Casino Regina's Station Poker Classic
A couple of days ago, I covered the kickoff of the 2025 Station Poker Classic at Casino Regina. Now in its third day (the casino's main event concludes on March 22nd and starts soon), the event continues to draw a mix of local talent and out-of-towners.
As noted in my earlier piece, the event is loaded with No-Limit Hold’em tournaments. Today, March 20th, players are deep into the $550 Knockout tournament, which began last night. But two events are already completed with published winners, starting with Tuesday’s $500 No-Limit Hold’em opener.
The Canadian prairies are sparsely populated. The prize pools are never going to be enormous in that region. However, the top finishers will no doubt be happy with their performances, noted below.

WSOP Circuit Montreal Kicks Off at Playground Poker Club March 2025
Excitement shifts out of Ontario early next week. The WSOP International Circuit at Playground Poker Club, in the Montreal area, is just days away. I'll look at this event a little later. The series officially kicks off on March 24th. As per the schedule for the event online, it looks like it could be big.
