The action at the Casino Regina's 2025 Station Poker Classic will be wrapping up soon. Here's a look at the results for the tournament, which featured No Limit Hold'em events.
2025 Station Poker Classic is Wrapping Up
The 2025 Station Poker Classic at Casino Regina will conclude tonight, March 22nd, with the Main Event wrapping up a five-day run of No-Limit Hold’em action. Following early victories by Eugene Kwak ($22,340) in the $500 NLH opener and Clint Common ($53,271) in the $800 NLH Re-Entry, anticipation is high in Saskatchewan's capital for the Casino's Main Event champion.
The momentum continued into Friday, March 21st, with the $1200 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event. This drew 294 entrants and generated a substantial $320,460 prize pool.
Louis Collette from Moncton, New Brunswick, emerged victorious, pocketing $83,123. Curtis Singleton of Calgary, Alberta, took second place with $52,332, followed by Johnny Yu of Kelowna, British Columbia, who earned $34,670 for third. This event further underlined the Station Poker Classic’s appeal, drawing players from across Canada, including New Brunswick, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
As per Casino Regina's website, below is a summary of the winners at the 2025 Station Poker Classic (updated on March 23rd, 2025, after the conclusion of the Main Event):
Date | Event | Winner | Prize |
---|---|---|---|

March 19th | $720+$80 NLH Re-Entry | Clint Common | $53,271 |
March 20th | $910+$90 NLH Re-Entry | Alex Pugach | $56,361 |
March 21st | $1090+$110 NLH Re-Entry | Louis Collette | $83,123 |
March 22nd | $1540+$160 NLH Re-Entry (Main) | Brett Lambden | $118,633 |
Station Poker Classic: Should There be a Small Mixed-Games Event?
While the Station Poker Classic has once again proven its draw with strong turnouts and competitive play, it’s a slight disappointment that the 2025 schedule lacked variety, sticking exclusively to No Limit Hold’em events. There might be a missed opportunity for another event, as mixed games have some appeal.
Looking ahead to 2026, I would suggest that Casino Regina could consider adding a small Sunday event in the H.O.R.S.E. format—a rotation of Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud, and Stud Eight-or-Better—to close out the series. Such an event could attract a different segment of poker enthusiasts and add a fresh dimension to the tournament.
But there is no need to look to 2026 for poker players planning to be in the Regina area in 2025. Two other events will run later this year. The Diamond Poker Classic goes from June 10th – 14th and the Harvest Poker Classic from November 11th – 15th.
